Sledding With the Big Kids!

Chris was outside shoveling the driveway so Owen and I went out to keep him company. Owen was sledding down the driveway and our neighbor Jen drove by to tell us that a bunch of kids were sledding down a hill in our neighborhood. So we headed in that direction.

Owen didn't enjoy sledding at White Pass but we thought that he'd warm up to it by watching some of the bigger kids. Our idea worked! Jen's son John offered to take Owen down the hill, and Owen had a big smile on his face the whole time. After the first run, Owen walked back up the hill and asked Chris to take him down.

They went down a few times together. Some of the kids were doing some pretty tricky stunts so we stayed and watched for a little while. Before it was time to head home, Owen decided to go down the hill by himself. He did great!
