Chris and I took the boys to Fantasy Lights at Spanaway Lake Park tonight. The parks department has put the display on for years but we've never gone. Since it was opening night, they closed the park to vehicles and allowed people to walk through instead of drive (walking sounded much more appealing to us).We toyed with not going since the temperatures were dipping below freezing. However, we really hated to miss seeing the lights in the snow. So we bundled everyone up and headed out the door.
We arrived around 6pm and spent the next 90 minutes wandering through the par
k. Owen was absolutely mesmerized by all the lights. He pointed out all of the objects he recognized and even threw in the colors (green car, blue bike, red flower, etc). Toward the end of the walk, there were about 15 stars lighting the path. Owen correctly named the color on all 15 stars. What a show-off.

What a show-off.Logan did what Logan does best when we go on outings: he slept. He was all bundled up in his stroller and he snoozed the entire time.
