Not Going Private

There is a person who has been trying to use my blog against me.

First and foremost, my blog is MINE. I will write about anything I want. I shouldn't have to pick and choose what goes on here to please other people. This website is my family journal and a way of documenting our adventures, milestones, and most importantly, the everyday stuff that otherwise goes forgotten.

I considered going private to block certain people from accessing it. I'm tired of hearing that I didn't write about so-and-so's birthday (when I actually did), or that I didn't talk about a particular event enough, or that I post pictures of certain people more than others.

My blog is not a scoreboard.

However, my grandparents and other relatives like to read it, as well as many others (I was surprised by the amount of emails I received when I said I was going private). So rather than block my loved ones from reading, I'm going to stay public, keep posting what I want to post and ignore the sour apple(s).
