Big Trucks

Pierce County Parks and Rec put on their annual Touch-a-Truck event today. They had all kinds of vehicles on display (buses, tow trucks, utilities trucks, police cars, a fire truck, an ambulance, stuff like that). All the vehicles were open and kids were welcome to climb in and play. Owen liked playing with the blinkers the most.

Owen was even sworn in as a junior deputy.
The event was held at Sprinker, where I practically grew up. For years, I watched my dad play baseball out there. When my sister and I were old enough, we played there too. We drove past the fields today so I could take a look, and everything was just as I remember. Someday, if we're still living in the area when our kids are older, I'm sure they will play there as well. Three generations on the same fields!

And before I wrap this up, I just wanted to mention that this is my 300th post! So we will celebrate with father and son sharin' a little sno-cone love!
