Mariners Game

I went to the Mariners game last night with my friend Missy, her friend Erin, and my neighbor Jen. That's one very nice thing about Chris working days right now... he's home in the evening which gives me a chance to spend time with my friends. So Chris and the boys went to the park and watched Cars while the girls and I tore it up at the game.

Jen and I wore these awesome glasses. You can't tell from the picture, but they light up. We thought that we'd make it up on the big screen FOR SURE. We even moved to an empty section in the 300 level so we'd be visible. We put on our best dancing performances at every opportunity but never made it on the screen. Major disappointment. But nonetheless we had a blast.

Owen made it on the screen last year. Of course, it's because he's so precious. What can I say... Chris and I make precious babies.

Our favorite part of the evening: dingleberries. That's really what they are called. It consists of 5 chocolate-covered strawberries on a stick. I normally would never spend $7 on chocolate covered strawberries when I can make at home. But hey... (here it comes)... Cheap Mariners tickets: $10. Chocolate-covered strawberries on a stick: $7. Getting to say the word "dingleberry" while trying to keep a straight face as you place your order: priceless.
Fun times! I love my friends. Chris and I are planning on heading back to Safeco Field this weekend with the boys!
