Family Reunion - Cle Elum

We attended a big Mohar family reunion today in Cle Elum. The man who bought my great-grandma's farm kindly invited to use the grounds for our gathering. He left the old house, barn, and outbuildings intact and built a home on the property for himself. My mom did a great job of organizing and we had 65 in attendance.

It was very sentimental to be on the old farm again. It actually looked smaller than I remember, which might be due to the trees and vegetation being bigger. But the house itself was exactly like I remember. The old measuring wall was even still there, where everyone would mark their height. I added Owen.

The best part of the farm is the huge barn. My cousins and I played there all the time when we were younger. Sometimes it was full of hay so we'd jump in it. When it wasn't full, we'd play People's Court there (don't ask me why). I usually got to be the judge. "Jail" was located in the pen just off the barn, and I threw people in there on a regular basis. I was a brutal judge.

I had a great time showing Chris and the boys my great-grandma's farm. And as always, I loved seeing my favorite cousins again. We have so much fun together. I hope we can all meet there again next year.

Haha! I just read this and I mentioned the same thing about People's Court in my post. Where did we ever get that idea? So random!

Great pictures! It was so fun wasn't it? It felt just like being little again and I loved seeing all the great-great-grandchildren running around Grandma Mohar's farm. I hope we can all do it again!
