Meeting Zoey

Logan and I visited Dawn and her baby Zoey (now 3 weeks old). She's the sweetest little girl and has a FULL head of gorgeous hair! We're so excited to have kids that are close in age and we plan on getting them together a lot. It was nice to visit for a couple hours and take pictures of the babies together. Dawn's husband started back up at work yesterday, so I think she was happy to have some company.While Logan and I were at Dawn's, Owen hung out with my mom. She wanted him to try out the new "kids room" that she created in her spare bedroom. It's full of toys, table and chairs, a big TV with lots of movies, and a bed with rails. It sounds like he had lots of fun playing in there.

Last night Chris and I took the boys to Members Night Out at the zoo. The parking lot was full so we hit the playground for an hour, figuring there would be some available spaces later. We were right... we found a spot and wandered around the zoo for a little while. We ran into some old friends from our college dorm and spent a few minutes catching up. The animals were very active because the trainers were feeding them. This time, Owen found the sea lions to be the most entertaining. Another fun night as a family :)
