Last Saturday, Logan and I went to a baby shower for my best friend, Dawn. She is expecting her first baby in May. Lots of family and friends were in attendance and Dawn scored some serious loot. I can't wait for her baby to arrive. She's the greatest friend and deserves all the happiness in the world.
On Sunday, we headed out to Chris' parents' house for a "meet Logan" party. Owen ate about 47 grapes (he calls them "apes"). Aunt Sue hogged Logan the most because she needs grandma practice: she recently learned that her daughter is pregnant with her first baby. Chris and I are so excited about a new cousin for Owen and Logan. None of my cousins will have kids (Kelley, Maria, Paula, Allie, I'm talking to all of YOU), so I guess we have to rely on Chris' relatives to supply them.
We've been working on several projects outside. The biggest: Chris and I have broken ground on our pond. It's going to be roughly 2000 gallons and will take us a couple months (at least) to complete. We've spent a lot of time planning it and have made tons of changes, but I think we have settled on something that will be really cool.
