Logan had his 2 month check-up today. I can't even believe how fast the last couple months have gone by. When Owen was a newborn, time didn't go by this fast. I think it's because I was so exhausted all the time and being parents was brand new for Chris and me. This time we're old pros and nowhere near as sleep-deprived. Well I take that back... poor Chris hasn't been sleeping well because Owen has a tendancy to be loud. Mostly loud in a good way with the occasional "terrible twos" tantrum. I try to keep him quiet while Chris sleeps, but sound travels well in this large house of ours.
Anyway, here's the latest on Logan:
Height: 24 inches (80th percentile)
Weight: 10lb 4oz (25th percentile)
What the heck? The doctor said everything looks great and he's not at all concerned about those lopsided numbers. When Owen was this age, he was also 24 inches but weighed 12lb 14oz.
Prior to the appointment, I took Owen and Logan to meet Dawn for lunch. We went to what is becoming our regular spot (The Rock at Lake Tapps). Owen was being unusually shy, which is strange because he really likes Dawn. Logan was just staring at all the lights. Dawn is doing well in her 9th month of pregnancy, although she was describing some of the all-too-familiar pregnancy pains that I don't miss at all! I'm getting so excited to meet her sweet baby girl.
