Muh-What?

Owen's learning new words all the time and we can usually figure out what he's trying to say. However, he's got one word in particular that has me totally stumped: "muh-NAY". The closest word that comes to mind is "money" but I really doubt that's what he's saying. Who knows... maybe it's just something he made up. He sure says it a lot. Anyone have any ideas though? Prize goes to whoever can figure it out.

On a completely different note, our latest purchase has been a Tassimo coffee maker. I don't drink coffee but I'm so excited to have a coffee maker. Kind of sad, isn't it? It makes lattes, cappuccinos, hot chocolate and tea with the push of a button. Totally simple. So now, when people come over I can act like I live in this century and offer them a latte.

Chris has been picking up more off-duty shifts before #2 comes. He's still chummy with the City Light crew and has been working with them since October. He cut back on the off-duty for a couple weeks around Christmas but is racking up the hours again. It's bittersweet... the money is wonderful but it means so much time away from home. And as I progress further into the pregnancy it's becoming more difficult for me to keep up with Owen, dogs, housework, appointments, etc. Poor Chris will call me from work and say "you're going to be mad, but I'm working on my days off". Yep, it does make me mad and I often let him know how annoyed I am! But I'm thankful that he has a great job and is willing to work hard so I can stay home. So it evens out.

According to my calendar, I have 59 days to go in this pregnancy. Meaning I need to get my butt in gear and prepare #2's room. I haven't even started. Well, see the above paragraph and it will explain why! It seems I'm always a step behind these days, which I can't stand. But regarding the pregnancy... everything's still the same. Uncomfortable as heck but #2 and I are hanging in there. We're tough.

maybe he is saying "Mandy". Our kids would call us by our first names sometimes just because they hear everyone else saying them.

Monkey is a possibility. I was wondering about Mandy as well. Although he certainly wouldn't have learned my first name from Chris, who refers to me as Dork all the time!

I was going to guess "Mandy", too.

If you need help with #2's room let me know - I can come down for a day and help out!
