First, I need to wish my sister a happy birthday (a few days late). She turned 30 while she was working onboard the Volendam (the route included Australia, Fiji, New Caledonia and Vanuatu). I'm so jealous that she made it to Australia before I did! But I'm happy for her. It sounds like she visited some amazing places. Anyway, I can't believe my sister is 30. I've said it before... my own age doesn't make me feel old. It's my little sister's age that makes me feel old.
I've finally found the time/desire/energy to work on #2's room and I've made tons of progress. For the past two years, that room housed holiday decor, art/craft/sewing supplies, etc. So I'm in the process of clearing the room out, organizing the stuff I want to keep and throwing out/donating the stuff I don't want. I figure it will take about two more days until the room is empty and then I will begin to map out my painting projects. I have two ideas (one of which Chris vetoed, but we'll see... I have better taste than he does).
Random Owen news: I figured out another one of his words today. Buh-TAH = pizza. He's been saying it for a couple months but I assumed it was just something he made up.
Random #2 news: This kid is starting to make my life miserable! Well that's a little dramatic. But let's just say that I'm really looking forward to him making an appearance, preferably sooner rather than later (technically, I have six weeks to go). It feels like he's dropped, which means that I'm uncomfortable pretty much all the time.
