Seven Weeks To Go

Here is a picture of my beautiful child. He knows how to vacuum, and he thinks it's fun. He also dusts and wipes off any hard surface that he can reach. Favorite chore: putting wet laundry into the dryer. He takes that particular job very seriously. I love him so much!The days are going by fast! I can't believe that #2 will be here soon. I have seven weeks to go unless he decides to make a surprise early entrance like Owen did. Honestly, with how much things are starting to hurt, I wouldn't mind a few days of bed rest followed by an early baby!

We received #2's bedding a couple of days ago, which is giving me the kick I need to get his room in order. I'm so excited about the theme and colors we chose. We'll be starting the transition to "big boy" bed for Owen soon, because I'd really like to transfer his crib into #2's room. We do have a backup crib just in case Owen chooses to stay in his crib though. I don't want to push him.

We went to a birthday party for our friends' two-year-old son a couple days ago. Most of the kids were around 2-4. Owen was among the youngest at 21 months but was bigger than the other kids. He seemed to have fun and he played so hard that his cheeks were pink the whole time we were there. He slept very well that night :)

Chris took a day off which gave him a three-day weekend. He made a point to avoid off-duty for all three days, and it's been SO great to have him home! We're enjoying it while we can because he plans on picking up more hours next week.
