Christmas: Round Two

Today we celebrated Christmas with my Mohar relatives. My mom drove across the mountains to bring my grandparents over (and Tom & Toni will drive them home tomorrow). We've been celebrating on this side of the mountains the past few years since most of the family lives over here now. Anyway, I was thrilled that it worked out for Owen to see his great-grandparents for Christmas this year. I'm sure they were as equally thrilled to see him :)

My gift to the family was a DVD slideshow that featured pictures from Christmasses past and present. It was a project that was in the works for months, and I spent a lot of time and effort on it. We all watched it together and shared a lot of laughs (and a few tears). I made copies for everyone.

We ate a wonderful meal and then dug into our gifts. We were reminded how lucky we are to have such a loving and generous family. Despite no nap, Owen was fantastic and really put on the charm for everyone. When Chris opened a gift that was intended for #2, Owen looked inside and said "baby" several times. So cute!

So Round Two was a huge success. I'm so happy that Grandma and Grandpa were able to celebrate with us. Christmas doesn't feel right without them :)
