Owen, like many little ones his age, has become quite the stripper. His pants come off at least ten times a day, and the diaper follows about fifty percent of the time. I know the easy solution would be to just let him go without pants, but I think that's kind of white-trash (even if we're at home). He's learned how to slip out of his one-piece PJs so I'll often find him without anything on in the morning. Sometimes the PJs will just be unzipped, and when he sees me enter his room he will zip them up right away. Sooo sneaky!
Last night, I checked on him before I headed to bed and I was greeted by a full moon. His PJs and diaper were laying on the floor, and a buck-naked shivering little boy was curled in his crib (butt straight up in the air). I fought every urge to grab the camera, because I knew if I woke him up he would punish me by staying up all night. So I put his diaper and PJs back on and managed to get him back into his crib without incident.
My body is starting to feel pregnant. I'm 25.5 weeks along. This pregnancy (along with my first) has been so easy that I often forget I'm even pregnant. But last night my sciatic nerve was bugging me and I was having some cramping as well. Seriously.. I can handle plenty of pain (failed epidurals remind you what pain feels like) but let's stick to one pain.. front or back. Not both, especially when I have things to get done!
I texted Chris to tell him I was cramping and he replied with "let me know if you need anything". Ten minutes later, he texted to say that he had eaten a cranberry bliss bar (my favorite Starbucks treat) for me. Um, because that's so much better than actually buying one and bringing it home for me to eat myself? I guess that was his way of "helping" me through the cramps. Gee, I'm so lucky.

One tip to keep the diaper on (if you are really concerned) is to put big boy unders on top of the diaper. They are trickier to get off.
that's funny (the moon and the sympathetic hubbie)
