I Can't Put My Arms Down!

Owen and I met my sister at the mall the other night. Our mission: winter jacket and snow pants for Owen! We hit the Macy's sale and scored a nice jacket for $15 (regular $60) and found snow pants for $12. Afterward we grabbed an Orange Julius, which I didn't get to enjoy because Owen hogged most of it. See how cute he is all bundled up. Crystal Mountain, here we come!Chris was just home for a couple days. I made him PROMISE that he wouldn't work any off-duty on those days because we literally saw each other for 4 hours during the previous 4 days. We spent one day being lazy and one day being productive. Add in lots of playtime with Owen and it was a nice couple of days.

Random Owen story.. last night I was straightening up downstairs and he ran up behind me. I kept up with what I was doing and he continued to run right at my heels. I stopped to see what he wanted.. he smacked my butt, laughed, and ran away!

Which reminds me of another Owen story that I've been meaning to write about. A couple months ago he grabbed a piece of candy and shoved it in his mouth. He knew he wasn't supposed to do that because he ran away from me. He stopped, turned around, rubbed his tummy and said "mmmmmm!" and then continued to run away from me!

Thanksgiving is sneaking up. Today I will transfer the turkey from the freezer to the fridge for thawing. We bought a 20-pounder this year. I think it's disgusting but Chris is excited. Anyway.. Christmas music is loaded onto the MP3 player and decorations are starting to go up. It's a little early but that's okay. At least I'm not like my mom's neighbor who puts up Christmas lights in October.
