Owen's Second Mariners Game

We took Owen to see the Mariners game last night. We've been so busy lately and when Chris told me that he'd be in training for much of September, I insisted that we get to a game before the end of this month. We invited my mom, sister and Chris' parents to join us.

I couldn't have been happier with Owen's behavior. He did great the entire game and was full of smiles and high-fives. He seemed happiest sitting on Laura's lap. At one point Chris wanted to let Owen run around so we walked around the main concourse. Owen walked (actually ran) the entire concourse all by himself.

Our favorite part of the night was Owen making the big screen. My mom and Chris were preparing to do a quick diaper change and I noticed a camera man was taping Owen. I told my mom "hold off on the diaper change.. he's on camera". The camera man asked if we wanted Owen on the big screen and of course I said yes. I'm glad he gave me a heads-up so I could be ready with my camera.

The Mariners ended up winning in 10 innings and we had a great time. It's definitely a yearly tradition that we'll keep up with.
