First Seahawks Game

Shawn and Kelly have Seahawk season tickets so Shawn invited Chris to go to yesterday's game against Denver. Shawn took his son Zach and Chris took Owen. Chris said that Owen was busy but did well. I was worried that the noise would be an issue but Owen was fine. He even scored from french fries from some girls sitting in the row behind. I don't know if I should laugh or be mortified at the idea of my child mooching off someone's fries. Dave works down on the field and had arranged for the boys to run around on the grass after the game, but they didn't last that long. Chris said they were tiring out so they left a little early. Hopefully it will work out another time though.

While the guys were at the game, I was partying at my mom's house. The Quandts wanted to host a "thank you" BBQ for those who helped at the NNPDF conference. Since my mom has the new deck and fabulous party backyard, the BBQ was held at her house. We had a ton of good food, delicious cranberry margaritas, and a fire for s'mores. It reminded me of all our old high school gatherings in the backyard (minus the booze since we were good kids). I had the coolest parents so everyone hung out at our house :)

Laura came home from Alaska yesterday. She may be headed to the Caribbean and Panama Canal in October.
