Problem Solver

A series of events...

Owen likes to splash around in the dogs' water dish.

When splashing becomes old, he likes to dump the water out. This usually results in a soaked child.

But the fun doesn't end there. Our smart little boy then finds the nozzle so he can fill up the dish again.

I love watching the wheels turn in his head. He mimics things Chris and I do. When I put my hair in a ponytail he giggles and rubs his hair. He randomly picks up my cell phone and says "hello?" My new favorite: he was watching me put on lip gloss. He curled his lips over his teeth and leaned toward me, heavily hinting that he wanted some on his lips too.

I met my mom and some of her friends for breakfast in Sumner this morning. Afterward, she and I walked to Loyalty Park to let Owen check out the playground. He climbed on the rock wall, went down the slide, and swung on the swings. He loved walking back and forth on the suspension bridge. Loyalty Park is special to me because my dad grew up playing there, as did I. I'll take the camera along next time.

Lucy stands in the bathroom and pokes herself in the eye when I am doing my contacts. It is cute :)
