Missing my Sister

Laura's reaching the end of her Panama Canal cruise. She's been sending amazing pictures from places such as southern Mexico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Ecuador...all places I hope to someday see. She's been writing about her adventures which is something I begged her to do. She went zip-lining through the jungle in Costa Rica which sounds really cool. Her ship went through the Panama Canal and crossed the Equator, two things that most people will never do in their lifetime. I think it's just amazing that she gets to experience such things. It took her a few days to get used to her new (smaller) ship, but it sounds like she's made the transition with no problems. This time around, she actually has days off and has more time to spend in the ports, and it seems that she is making the most of it. The ship will be returning to port in San Diego this week, and then she will do three more weeks in the Mexican Riviera. In early January the ship heads out into the Pacific toward Hawaii and the Polynesian Islands (Tahiti, French Polynesia, and Marquesas). I think she hopes to come home for a couple weeks in February and then squeeze in a couple more months. She wants to be home in time for the baby. She has an important title ("The Only Aunt") and it would be great to have her home.

If anyone would like to send her a Christmas or early birthday card, mail and packages can be sent to the San Diego port where it will be held for her. She will be in port Dec 23, Dec 30, and Jan 6. The address is as follows:

MS Ryndam - Laura Kreuger, Assistant Cruise Director
64304 Entertainment Dept.
Paxton, Shreve & Hays, INC.
2191 Main Street
San Diego, CA 92113 USA

(Important: make sure the address clearly states "MS Ryndam")
