Thankful: Day 8

8. I am thankful for random fun days with the family. The weather looked nice when we woke up so we decided a few hours at Point Defiance was necessary. Might as well continue to make good use of our zoo membership. Got everyone ready to go and we were out the door within an hour.

The zoo is wonderful during the off-season. We practically had the entire place to ourselves. The animals were out (pobably enjoying the quiet day) which meant fantastic picture-taking opportunities. Here are a few of our favorite pictures from the day:

Each time we go to the zoo, Owen seems to pick a new favorite animal. This time it was the sharks and reef fish. One fish in particular kept following Owen, which was pretty funny. And when we were in the shark tank, Owen kept insisting that he could see Nemo. What a great imagination! Logan was his normal self... snuggled up in his stroller smiling at everyone. My family is the best :)
