We took advantage of the sunny weather and went to Scholz Farm in Orting yesterday. It's not as big or flashy as some of the other pumpkin patches in the area but that's why we like it. They have farm animals and a small corn maze, which is enough to please Owen. We wandered around the field for a little while and found a few pumpkins to bring home. We're keeping it low-key this year. Just one big pumpkin and three small ones. I'm sure when the kids are older, they will want the biggest pumpkins they can find.

We'll carve our pumpkins on Chris' night off. We're letting Owen pick the designs this year and our fingers are crossed that he doesn't ask for Elmo or Thomas.
