Back in the Saddle

Chris and I usually come home from vacation exhausted, and this time was no different. We've settled back into our routine, which includes Chris being back on patrol. I loved having him home in the evenings when he was on light duty, but I really prefer to have him home during the day. He's able to make more of his time off when he works nights.

Owen is still doing what he does best: making us laugh. A couple nights ago he came up to me and said "Mandy, pizza please?" It's quite funny to hear your toddler call you by your first name! But that doesn't bug me. I'm just happy that he's using his manners. And yes, he got to eat pizza.

Owen's bounce house arrived the day we left for the Caribbean and it's set up in the garage. He's having so much fun with it. He likes it when Chris or I go in with him. We're over the weight limit to bounce but it's okay if we lay in there.

Logan is so close to crawling. He scoots all over the place on his tummy and gets up on all fours often. He does the rocking motion and will move his knees, but he just hasn't put it together yet. It will happen soon. And his 8th tooth just came through. He's got 4 on top and 4 on the bottom. I joke with him and say "okay, time to take a break from growing teeth and start growing some hair." His hair is still quite thin.

Chris and I just booked another trip to Vegas. Also plan on hitting Zion NP for a day to do some hiking. Can't wait!
