Right now, he's holding a popsicle stick that he bent in half and he's proudly telling me that it's an L. And speaking of popsicles, he specifically asked for a blue one. We don't have blue, but he settled for yellow. I didn't realize kids his age were so picky about their popsicle flavors. Personally, I like them all!
Another thing he's figured out is that a W can also be an M. Last week he picked up his W magnet and announced "budda-you" (that's how he pronounces it). He flipped it over and said M. And he's been doing it ever since. "Budda-you, M, budda-you, M." In fact, a couple of days ago he turned it on its side and said E. Yeah, it kind of does resemble an E :)
This week Owen finally put two and two together when it comes to his bike. He's had it since Christmas although we knew it would be a while before he'd be ready to ride it. Lately, Chris has been spending a lot of time with him working on the concept of pedaling. And Owen finally got it! Chris tried to share the credit with me, saying "we taught him this, Mandy." But no, I corrected Chris and said "I've been the cheerleader. YOU are the one who taught him." Don't tell him I said anything, but I saw Chris' eyes tear up a little :) And because Owen is such a joy, we've decided to buy a bounce house. Because ya know, he's not spoiled enough! The Johnson Bounce Palace will be open for business soon. Can't wait!

I suppose I will exceed the weight limit on that, too!!
I love your boys!
The weight limit on this puppy is 500 pounds! But the catch: the fine print says the capacity is 5 with each person weighing 100 pounds or less. They say adults can sit inside to assist smaller kids but they don't recommend bouncing. Party poopers!
