Summer Fun

Chris had his MRI a couple days ago and he has a torn meniscus. Of course, it's the inner meniscus and not the outer (which can heal itself), so it will require surgery. Fortunately, the surgery is relatively minor and the recovery time is quick. It should take 2-4 weeks for him to fully recover. The surgery will likely be scheduled for next week.

On Wednesday we headed back up to Mud Mountain Dam, this time with Jen and her boys. Owen tried to push a couple of girls into the pool. One looked like she was ready to pound him, and I wouldn't have blamed her! We'd planned on continuing up to the cabin afterward, but Chris was feeling a little sick. We were fearful that it was the flu, but luckily he kicked whatever it was quickly. He owes me a cabin trip now.

We spent a little time at Alder Lake earlier this evening. Owen enjoyed the playground with Chris while I wandered around with Logan and took a few pictures. Short trips such as these have become our main source of entertainment since Chris' injury limits our activities. Glad we live in an area with lots of fun things to do!
