Happy Birthday, Owen

Today is Owen's second birthday. We're not having his party until this weekend, but we had a small celebration today. Since the weather is so nice, the four of us jumped in the car and headed to DeCoursey Park so Owen could feed the ducks again. He immediately recognized the park when we pulled in, because he started saying "duckie" and began quacking.

We fed the ducks, played on the playground, and walked the trail around the pond.

When we got home, Owen opened his gifts from Chris and me. He was pretty excited about his new tent, baseball glove and cars. He wasn't thrilled about the clothes. His favorite gift was the Hot Wheels track that Chris picked out for him. Actually, I'm not sure who is enjoying the track more... Chris or Owen?

After Owen opened his gifts, we ate cupcakes. Owen even managed to blow out one of the candles by himself (something we've been practicing just for the big birthday).

Happy Birthday, little guy. You make us so happy and proud. We love you, Owen!
