Big Brother

Owen's been practicing the Big Brother role lately. Okay, he has no clue what's about to happen but I love how he wants to help with everything. Sometimes he's just in the way, but other times he is surprisingly helpful. Like the other night, when we decided it was time to take the crib out of Owen's room. Chris began disassembling the crib and started handing pieces to me. Owen quickly ran over to carry one side while I would carry the other. He helped with each piece. And when it came time to reassemble the crib in #2's room, Owen was right there to help his dad with the screws. He actually did some of the work all by himself too.

Later that night, when it was time for bed, Owen decided he wanted to wear my socks. Except this is how he wanted to wear them:

This weekend will be busy: we have a birthday party up in Seattle, hospital bags to pack, errands to run, a bedroom set to assemble (birthday gift from Chris), and a few projects to finish up in #2's room. Pictures coming soon.
