Back To Normal

We've been adjusting back to normal life after our fun road trip. Owen got a little spoiled sleeping in between Chris and I for all those nights, and woke up a few times during our first night home. He's back on his schedule now and is sleeping like a pro again.

Chris scored a sweet off-duty job that will last through the beginning of December. It means quite a bit of time away from home, but it's a good job and it pays well so I'll manage. Guess it gives me an excuse to hang out with my friends a little more!

We had dinner with our friends Shawn and Kelly last night. They have two boys (Zach is older than Owen and Garrett is younger). Owen had fun destroying the playroom with them, but seemed a little jealous when Garrett sat in Chris' lap. Tonight, we had dinner with Cameron and Beth. They have a 7-month old son Oliver who Owen adores. It was fun to see him play Big Brother. I'm glad we have such great friends.

So that's what our past few days have consisted of. Coming up next.. pumpkin patch and Halloween. We're excited about Owen's costume this year!
