Visiting the Cousins

A couple of my cousins are in town for a few days. Charlie and his wife have been living in Belgium and came home to see friends and family. Paula lives in northern California and also came up to spend some time with everyone. Tom and Toni invited Chris, Owen, Laura and I over for dinner and dessert and we had the best time ever. Laura and I grew up with our Pasquier cousins and we're very close. Our conversations are usually quite interesting. We talked about everything from Charlie's (lack of) grooming habits to the fact that toilet seats are a luxury that we take for granted. I'm glad we had a chance to catch up.

Owen recently showed an interest in Jen's son's crayons, so I picked some up. Owen drew a nice picture which is now on our fridge. Chris would like me to point out that Owen is an abstract artist. He's rather talented. If you'd like a custom-drawn picture, let me know. They are free (for now) since he's not a professional and still eats his crayons.
