Wine Party

We hosted a wine-tasting party today. My friend Tracy is a wine consultant and asked if I'd host a party to help her get started. She asked the right person, because I love having parties! I even became somewhat educated on cheese, because I wasn't about to have a wine party with the wrong cheese. (Kelley didn't seem impressed when I asked if Cheez Whiz and saltines would be appropriate.) I'm not much of a wine drinker but I must say, the Riesling that we had was pretty good. We had 15 guests and the party was so much fun!

I also got some camera practice in, because food is always a good subject.

Kelley and Paul hung around for a while after everyone left. I'd like to say it's because they enjoy our company, but they really just wanted to play with Owen. Here's a clip of Kelley and Owen together...

Chris and I went to a Bunco party at Brad and Julie's last night. We dropped Owen off at my mom's for a little quality grandma time. Bunco kind of has a reputation of being an old lady game, but apparently drunk cops like to play as well. I did okay but not good enough to win anything.. Chris won five bucks (I took it).
