Owen, now 11 months, has been taking a few steps here and there, but today he found a way to get around quicker. He figured it out on his own. How resourceful of him.
Owen's broadening his food horizons. His new favorites are pasta, mac-n-cheese, and nectarines. He's a pretty clean eater which makes me SO happy. Of course he'll still mash a banana piece in his hair now and then, but I can deal with an occasional mess.
This morning I came home from an appointment and Chris and Owen were upstairs in the bonus room. I peeked in at them, and Owen quickly began to crawl toward me. I said "awww did my little guy miss me?" But no.. he grabbed the door and slammed it shut! Gee, thanks. I'll let that slide for now, but if he slams a door on me when he's a teenager I'm taking his door off the hinges and he'll have to earn it back!

Tooo cute!! Looks like he needs a little walker.. We have a really good one that I think my Mom got at Target for $20, it is a ride on toy that pops up to a walker.
