Bobcats & Bison & Bears, Oh My

Chris and I wanted to do something fun as a family over the long weekend. We talked about going to the zoo, or Mt. Raininer, or the cabin. We eventually decided to go to Northwest Trek in Eatonville, and we invited the Werners to go with us. It was cold and a little foggy but we bundled the little ones up and spent about 3 hours at the park. Andrew and Zane had fun participating in the scavenger hunt and we all loved the tram ride. Sam and both I had our SLR cameras ready to go. I always enjoy the chance to play with my camera! (I love Owen and the dogs, but sometimes it's nice to have another subject.) Here are a few of my shots...

I could have stayed all day and practiced with the camera. I'm definitely going back in the spring/summer when there are leaves on the trees (and hopefully baby animals).

We came home and the kids all played and watched a movie. Owen shared his toys with Lucy. We wrapped up the day with a big spaghetti dinner and lots of cookies. I'm so glad we were able to spend a whole day together. Eric and Sam are fantastic friends (and are full of great parenting advice!) and we love spending time with them.
