We had 6 Christmases this year and we're finally finished. On Saturday we got together at Tom and Toni's with some of my Mohar relatives. Toni prepared a fantastic meal and we enjoyed a few hours together. Paula and Drew were able to make it up from CA so I thought it was important to spend some time with them. Chris and I are trying to arrange a trip to Selah to see my grandparents in January, since they couldn't make it.
On Sunday we went to my dad's house. As usual, my dad had a little too much fun disguising his gifts. He gave my sister a 3-pack of gasoline treatment, and she was trying so hard to seem thankful and appreciative. It took her awhile to realize there was a gift card taped to the bottom. What a dork. Anyway my dad bought Owen his first basketball and football so I'm stoked about getting him exposed a couple of my favorite sports. We had Christmas with Chris' parents and
Grandma on Monday. We had a nice lasagna dinner and Owen scored a bunch more loot. Chris got a new hood for his car (possibly the most boring gift on the planet but it made Chris happy). Owen was more interested in the ribbons and bows, as usual. And he seemed rather fascinated with Pearl's cane.

Having so many Christmases was fun and I'm glad we have so many family and friends nearby to celebrate with, but we're SO glad everything's over. I'm itching to take the tree down and put the decorations away. And get the house back in order!
