Happy Halloween! We finally had a chance to take Owen to Scholz Farm in Orting to pick out his very first pumpkin. Chris and I found a couple good ones for us (Chris insisted that his had to be bigger than mine) and we found a nice little one for Owen. We didn't wander through the corn maze but we'll do it next year. I haven't been to a pumpkin patch in the longest time but insisted that we go this year so we can start a nice family tradition.
Anyway we got home and started the carving. Chris carved an awesome spider web and I carved a bat in front of a tombstone. I like his better than mine. For Owen's, I just carved a goofy face. He was more interested in the newspaper that covered the counter than carving pumpkins. Goofy kid.Tomorrow, I'll post pictures of Owen in his costume. I'm not telling what he's going to be...it's a surprise!
