We've been pretty busy around here lately. There's hardly any time to sit around and do nothing (although when we have nothing to do, we get antsy). We've been working pretty hard on our shed, which is taking a while to finish but there is more to a shed than you'd imagine. With the way Chris builds things anyway. When he built the deck and pergola at our Bonney Lake house, I'd joke that we could have an earthquake, hurricane and tornado hit at the same time...maybe throw in a tsunami. The neighborhood would be gone but our deck and pergola would still be there. However I'm glad that he builds things well because it would be a shame to have stuff collapse or be unsafe. Here are a few pictures from the past several days.

Anyway because of the steep 45 degree pitch (which we made to match the pitch on the house) it's difficult for him to climb on. So we put together this fine MacGyver-esque contraption to get him up there. Pure genius. Yesterday was brutal
on our bodies. He was up on the roof for much of the day, but I'm the one who was up and down on the ladder with supplies. So we're both going to be hurting today. However my hamstrings have been getting a lot of use which I am happy about, because I don't have a lot of time to lift weights right now.Owen as usual has been wonderful. I'll set him outside in his bouncer so he can watch us work. Hopefully he's learning something so he can assist us when he's older :)
