"I Have Hands"

Owen is pretty impressed with his hands. He's been sucking and chewing on them a lot for the past couple weeks. However a few days ago he realized just how cool they are because he's been staring at his fists. He will extend his arm out, make a fist and look at it cross-eyed. We attended Travis and Michelle's wedding last weekend in Easton. It was held at a beautiful lodge set on the Yakima River. Owen wore his brown bear onesie and khaki pants with sandals and looked pretty handsome. As usual, no one seemed to notice that Chris and I showed up because Owen stole the spotlight. We had a good time visiting with Derek and his girlfriend Mandy. We might try to arrange a road trip to visit them in Denver one of these days.

We continue to poke away around the house. Chris has been working a lot of overtime so it's hard for him to have the time and energy to do projects at home. However we've started building our shed, and will begin digging sprinkler trenches soon. I'm looking forward to the nice workout my shoulders will get. (For real, not being sarcastic.)
