Two Woman Painting Crew

My mom and I decided to paint her house. It hasn't been done in a long time and needs to be updated. So we picked the colors and started the prep work a few days ago. I pressure washed and did some caulking first, and we started the painting yesterday. We're in no hurry but would like to finish in a reasonable amount of time of course. We've made decent progress after two days and we'll continue to poke away until we're done. It's already looking very nice. Owen sits nicely in his bouncer and just watches us, until it's time for a bottle or diaper change. I gave him a paint brush which he was happy to show off.

The other big excitement around here is that I surprised Chris with a Nintendo Wii last week. I went to Best Buy early Sunday morning while he was still sleeping and picked it up. I left it in the garage and when he got up, I was on the couch with Owen. I frantically said "oh no, I have something in the garage that I forgot to bring in and it needs to get in the fridge". He seemed annoyed and went out to find the Wii. He was very surprised! We've been having a lot of fun boxing each other and playing baseball. And we've already spent a lot of money on accessories. I'm thinking our parties are going to be a little more entertaining now :)

Owen's growing too fast. He's burning through clothes left and right. He was in his newborn outfits for the longest time and he just blew past his 3-month clothes. So much of his wardrobe is 6-month and some of those are even becoming too small. I miss my 7-pound baby.
