Owen's keeping us in the social loop. We've gotten so many phone calls, emails and visits from friends and family and the support is wonderful. I figured that our social lives would be dead for the next couple years and that we'd be chained to the house. However that's not the case at all!On Saturday Chris' parents had the Johnson family over for a turkey dinner. Several of the relatives had not met Owen yet. We were there for several hours and he was great the entire time. Owen is the first great-grandchild on this side of the family so we were sure to get a picture of the four generations.
Brad and Julie (seen here in the hospital) stopped by on Sunday with dinner! They prepared everything ahead of time so it was ready to eat. What a wonderful and thoughtful gift! They visited for a while and checked out our new house. I'm trying to talk them into buying the lot next door to us! On Monday we met Cameron and Beth at The Rock in Puyallup for pizza. It was Owen's first time in a restaurant anad I was a little nervous, but he was good. Besides, it's loud in there so if he were to belt out some screams, no one would have noticed.
