A Night Out

Brad and Julie invited us out to see the band again and this time we were able to make it. My mom said she could watch Owen for us (and even better, she said she'd come over so we wouldn't have to take all his stuff to her house). Everything went well and she said he was pretty easy, which is good because he's been rather fussy for the last few days. Chris and I stayed out a lot longer than we anticipated because we were having a lot of fun and the band was good (we're definitely going to see them again). Jake and Christy were there as well as a few others from work. It was nice to get out but it was weird to be away from Owen for that long.

We think Owen just went through a growth spurt because he'd been eating a LOT and was terribly fussy for about 3 days. He slept good last night (thank God, because I need more than 3 hours at night) and is back to being the happy baby that we're used to.

Chris and I got a lot done on the fence yesterday. I have been trying to convince him to buy me a nail gun so I can put up boards too but he doesn't think the neighborhood would be safe! He's probably just afraid that I'd do a better job than him. We have a couple days of work left before it's finished, and then we will start to lay out our sprinkler system. More trench digging! (I'm actually really good at that. I dug a lot of them at our Bonney Lake house.)
