Little Bit of House News

There's not a whole lot to add since my last post. Chris has been working and I haven't been feeling well so we haven't been up to much. We checked on the house a few days ago and the drywall is up. With the weather being as cold as it is, and no furnace in the house yet, it's going to be a couple of weeks before we can paint. We're hoping the driveway gets poured soon so we can get to work on installation of the sprinkler system and front yard. We would like to use seed rather than sod...we had such good luck with the seed we used at the Bonney Lake house...but with the weather, I'm a little concerned about germination. If the grass doesn't grow, Pierce County won't issue us our occupancy permit to move in.

Oh we found out why our house is behind schedule. Our builder has a pain-in-the-ass client in our development who has made all kinds of changes to their house. The builder is okay with changes (which is why we are using him) but these people continue to change their minds. So the builder is trying to get them done ASAP so he can get them out of his hair. We're cool with that. Gives us a chance to save more money.

I met up with Dawn and Veronica yesterday for a 3-hour lunch. It's been months since the three of us were together.
