O-Dam, Laura was Quarantined

Apparently my sister had to go into quarantine on the Oosterdam (or O-Dam as they call it) the other day. Her roommate became sick and was showing signs of the Norwalk virus, the cruise ship virus you hear about on the news. Since Laura was exposed to her, she had to stay in her cabin. A couple co-workers lent her a laptop and some DVDs to keep her occupied. She was thankful that she was quarantined to her cabin where she could be with her stuff, as opposed to the infirmary or something. It ended up being okay and she was released. However she had to miss out on Ketchikan which apparently has cool shops and a Walmart, so she was disappointed that she couldn't do her shopping. She will be in port tomorrow, and I believe her friend Matt will be bringing her home for the day. (Oh and the Northern Lights picture was taken by one of her friends with his fancy camera.)

House news: The flooring that we ordered for the new house arrived (Direct Buy is the best thing ever) and we picked it up yesterday. Our builder said we could store it at the model home until our house has doors, so we took it up there today. The garage floor was poured yesterday which had Chris all excited. The drywall is scheduled to be delivered today and will be installed next week. After everything dries we will be ready to paint. We've picked the main color we will use throughout the house and bedrooms, but we're disagreeing on the dining room and den (which is technically MY music room so Chris shouldn't get a say). I want a dark red dining room and mossy green in the den. He says a red dining room will be scary and he wants a forest green in the den. We'll see...I think he should just trust my judgment.
