More Milestones

Logan (almost 9 months) is really racking up the milestones these days. On Thanksgiving Day, he pulled himself up to a stance. He's been standing with assistance from us for a couple of weeks but this time he did it on his own. And once he is standing he smiles like a fool but also has this look of "uh, what do I do now?" on his face. So precious.

And now that he can stand, he's decided it's time to master the stairs. He climbed up a couple with some help but luckily he can't do it on his own yet. I'm sure he'll be climbing them in no time.

Mastering all these activities burn a lot of calories. This kid is a chow hound! In addition to his pureed food, he's been eating puffed rice, banana slices and pieces of cheese. I attempted to give him some green bean pieces but he wasn't crazy about those.

Logan is also quite the vocalist. Last week he was stuck on "da-da-da-da" and this week it's "buh-buh-buh-buh". Owen will sit down and encourage Logan to talk. He's been trying to teach him how to say "mama". Sometimes they just exchange excited shrieks which provides fun for us all!
