Family Fun

Chris was able to leave work early today. The boys and I picked him up in Auburn (he's been taking the train and/or bus to work now that he's on light duty) and we had lunch at The Rock. Owen loves their parmesan pasta, so he was one happy kid. Logan likes staring at the lights.

It was raining when we got home. I really wanted to go to the Puyallup/Graham-Kapowsin football game, but GK doesn't have a covered visitor's side. Football in the rain with a toddler and baby just wasn't sounding like fun. And no, sitting on the GK side was NOT an option!

So we chose a good rainy evening activity: family painting time! I have lots of art supplies but we decided to hit the craft store and pick up some more stuff. We bought a big roll of paper, paints, new brushes, coloring books, and a handful of other supplies. I didn't expect Chris to participate but he got down on the floor and joined the fun. Check out our family masterpiece:
Owen loves painting and coloring. We've enrolled him in an art class called Messy Time and he will begin next week. We're very excited for him to start!
