Pierce County Fair

We took the boys to the Pierce County Fair today. It's held right down the street but we've never gone. We looked at animals and exhibits, and bought lots of scones. Owen's tall enough to go on rides now, so we figured we'd let him try some out before the Puyallup Fair begins next month. Owen went on three rides (well, four because he went on one twice) and did great. He was cautious and didn't smile much, but he didn't cry and that was the important part! My parents used to take great movie footage of my sister and I at the Puyallup Fair. Last Christmas, my mom had several of the old reels converted to DVD. We've had so much fun watching those movies over the years, and now we have a new generation to add to the collection!
