Here are a few more from the Owen Collection...
Bath: baff
Drink: dink
Laura: Wah-wah
Grandpa: boppa
Peaches: bee-tiz
Like I said in a previous post, he does say many words correctly so I will give him credit. But those words are nowhere near as fun.
My new favorite, which he said for the first time tonight: "I wuv you."
Owen's not the only vocal child in this house. Logan Buns (Chris hates that nickname, yet he slips and calls him that sometimes) is a professional giggler. Tickle his chest or his cheeks and he erupts in laughter. Definitely one of my favorite sounds! Logan will be 4 months on July 4th, and I can't wait to see how much he's grown when next week's check-up rolls around.

Oh the poor baby! It must have been so traumatic for him to see those balloons slipping away like that. That desperate feeling of seeing them go higher and higher...no wonder he got all worked up about it! Children are so funny about those kinds of things, and I always feel so bad when I can't make it better.
I'm sorry you didn't get to spend the 4th with your hubby. You're right - it's not the same to hang with friends and such. I always feel like there's such a big piece missing when Mike can't be places with us. I am thankful though that men like Chris are out there on holidays like the 4th, keeping us safe from all of the crazies that come out on nights like that!
I cannot wait until Harrison starts laughing! He's sooooo close...any day now! There isn't anything in the world as satisfying as the sounds of your own kids' laughter - especially the babies. Life is good beyond measure in those moments.
