Laura's 30th

Chris and I had several family members over yesterday to celebrate Laura's birthday. Owen made sure everyone was entertained. I've never seen him show off the way he did yesterday. Everyone got to see his smooth dance skills and how fast he can crawl through his tunnel. Owen seems to take after Laura in that respect: when she was little she absolutely loved having an audience! Anyway, the party was fun and we had a good time with the relatives.

Owen just spent night #4 in his bed. This transition is going better than we thought it would. He seems so comfortable when he sleeps, as in he settles into a position and doesn't move all night. He wakes up around 9am (I love him) and just plays with his toys until I come for him. So easy! Two nights ago, Chris and Owen fell asleep together in Owen's bed. I wish I could have taken a picture.

We have five weeks until #2 is due to arrive. I normally wouldn't start weekly doctor appointments until next week but since I've been so sore and uncomfortable, we started the weeklies last Tuesday. BP continues to be fine this time around (I'm watching it like a hawk) and my anemia isn't bothering me. I'm just ignoring the pain and going about my normal routine as best I can... it's not like I can camp out on the couch with Chris working such long hours. I'm holding the fort down; it just takes me a little bit longer.
