We're home from our 4-day trip to Vegas. We rented a car this time (a sweet orange Dodge Avenger, see below) since we stayed downtown and let me tell you, people there drive like idiots. Red lights mean nothing to them. Anyway we stayed at the Golden Nugget and it was wonderful. I'd totally stay there again. Chris' dad was down there too and they spent a couple days at the SEMA show. I passed the time by wandering, driving, and shopping while Chris was at the show. Coincidentally, Chris' partner Cameron was in town so we met up with him on Halloween. The next night we met our friend Mike at the Orleans and we found the best slot machine ever: Back to the Future.
On our final day, we drove out to Red Rock Canyon to kill some time. The weather was gorgeous (80 degrees) and the drive was nice. When we flew into Seattle, the pilot announced that it was 40 degrees so we were kinda pissed. Cold weather sucks.
